Beautiful clouds form in Cape Town, South Africa. They are in fact lenticular clouds, according to CNN meteorologist Derek Van Dam. "These are fairly common clouds known as stratocumulus standing lenticularis," he wrote on Facebook. "They form when conditions are just right. Air flows along the surface of the earth and reaches some sort of obstruction like a mountain or valley."

ReplyDelete2. I had some difficulty finding soucres that talked about this strange cloud formation but it was very easy to just find a picture.
3. I've personally never seeen any clouds like these so i wanted to share with others how amazing theses clouds are.
These are really neat! I don't know why the image isn't loading right now, but I remember the photograph from before. Again, go into more detail in your text about the image though - show your passion for a photo like this, talk about how the locals reacted, or get opinions from class mates about they see in the image for example.
